Welcome to IMPRiNT INPRiNT!

IMPRiNT INPRiNT is an independent Australian publisher now specialising in the autobiographies and biographies of prominent music industry personalities, as well as other books in the showbusiness genre.

IMPRiNT INPRiNT began as a division of the ORiGiN™ Group, which is predominantly focused on publishing music, lyrics and scripts for musicals and plays, and managing Australasian performance rights for acclaimed composers such as Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber and Rodgers and Hammerstein.

The book division was officially hived off and renamed IMPRiNT INPRiNT in October 2021, after several years of publishing a selection of music titles and other manuscripts, including fiction, biography, and poetry.

Our first title to be published under IMPRiNT INPRiNT is SMOKY DAWSON – A LIFE, due for release in January 2022. This is a landmark 368-page coffee table publication honouring the memory of one of the most extraordinary, versatile and influential entertainers of the 20th Century – a beloved pioneer of the country music industry and a man whose amazing talents traversed the whole spectrum of entertainment: from old-time Outback tent shows to modern-day recording studios, on radio and television, in Australia and America, a songwriter and a poet, and an inspiration to a nation.

We are proud to announce our arrival as IMPRiNT INPRiNT with this dedication to Smoky, a true-blue Australian icon, and we look forward to offering readers more special-interest publications of excellent quality in the years to come.
